Mass with Bible Presentation

Youth in 6th grade received their bibles at Mass this past October at the 5 p.m. Mass.  


Middle School Religious Education

An in-depth study of scripture begins the curriculum for the middle school youth program.

The Old Testament is studied in the 6th grade. The New Testament and Church History is studied in 7th grade. Morality (or how to live well) is explored in 8th grade.

Preparation for Confirmation begins in 7th grade and continues throughout the 8th grade.

Day:         Sunday (see class

Time:        10:20 am - 12:20 pm

Sunday Family A (10:20 a.m.--12:20 p.m.) for children (and at least one parent) in grades preK-5 and youth in grades 6-8 begins October 2 and meets on the following Sundays:
Sunday Family B (10:20 a.m.--12:20 p.m.) for children (and at least one parent) in grades preK-5 and youth in grades 6-8 begins October 9 and  meets on the following Sundays:

Session:  Wednesday
Grades:    6-8
Day:         Wednesdays (see class schedules/topics below)
Time:        6:30 pm - 7:45 pm

For youth, (not attending St. Francis school,) entering 8th grade, St. Francis offers 3 choices for classes:

1) Wednesday weekly classes meeting from 6:30 p.m.-7:45 p.m. beginning September 28.

2) Sunday A classes, meeting twice monthly from 10:20 a.m.-12:20 p.m. beginning October 2

3) Sunday B classes, meeting twice monthly from 10:20 a.m.-12:20 p.m. beginning October 9.
