Senior Chore Day

St. Francis volunteers participate in the Neighborhood Senior Services Annual Fall Chore Day, a one-day, Saturday in November, volunteer event sponsored by Catholic Social Services, Senior Services Department., where nearly 700 volunteers help over 100-150 senior citizens in Washtenaw County, by raking leaves, checking smoke alarm batteries, and getting yards ready for winter. 

Groups or individuals are welcome to attend, and all details will be sent to the group leader who registers a couple of weeks before the event.

Neighborhood Senior Services Annual Fall Chore Day
Normally the first or second Saturday of November.
