Special Polish Pasterka "Shepherds' Mass"
Saturday, January 7, 2017,  5:00PM Mass at St. Francis (upstairs in the main church), celebrate this Polish tradition in the Polish language with Choir Filareci from Hamtramck, Michigan, singing traditional kolędy, Christmas carols in the spirit of joy.  The exact hour of the Birth of Christ is not written in the Bible, so, let’s take every opportunity to go, like those shepherds, in haste, to adore Him!   Traditionally, this service concludes with an Apostolic Blessing.
This Mass is followed by a light reception in our PAC Parish Activities Center.  All are invited to bring a dish of baked goods to share.  Sign-up here to share and help.

The Polish community has been enjoying this tradition at St. Francis for more than 30 years, since about 1982.  It is organized by the Polish American Congress, Ann Arbor Chapter - annarborpolonia.org .
